Writing Camp was so much fun! It was the first time I ever went camping. I was surrounded by nature. I love nature because it helps me relax.Writing Camp wasn't just for writers but also for artist. I am the latter. I learned how to make a bat out of wool. A bat is layers of different colored wool felted together to make multicolored wool. I hope that makes sense. Then we made many different things by wet felting with the bat of wool. I made two loofah soap bars, a beret and a stuffed peacock.
The cabins were amazing! Very comfortable and neat. I felt at home. We were provided with basic stuff. We were even provided with breakfast, lunch, dinner. I totally loved the food. It was heavenly! Plus the kitchen staff was very helpful and nice. Everyone was so positive and caring. It felt lovely. I can't wait to go next year! Through this journey I made three new friends! My friends are super talented and fun. The sad part is that I won't get to see them until next year. That is why I can't wait for writing camp next year!
